Breaker Modeling and Updating
Retrofit breaker project that required custom modifications and converting AutoCAD drawings into 3D models
purpose
The goal of this project was to model the 5-GER-350-3000 replacement breaker and modify the lid to prevent an interference that the customer was concerned about.

Result
The parts for this breaker existed only as AutoCAD drawings, so I had to model each part individually and then combine them in an assembly. Some drawings were missing and/or difficult to find, so I had to learn how to use various search features on SAP (Database for all Siemens parts). For the parts that were not found, I modeled them from scratch and created new drawings. The end result was a fully modeled breaker and operator with a new lid.
